A Message From Your Multilist President
LESSON LEARNED?

Last month the federal government made the announcement that they were stepping in to help prevent the collapse of our friends Freddie and Fannie.I don't think anyone can argue that these two entities were too large to fall. As of 2008 Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac owned or guaranteed about half of the U.S.'s $12 trillion mortgage market. The Federal Housing  Finance Agency had seen enough and basically stepped in and put both under their watchful eye.The move will hopefully bring stability to the mortgage markets and expedite the recovery of the housing industry.More
